Iyo stumbles away from her latest attempt to rescue her friends with only a bruised ego and a Billion Ruts tag to show for it. Before she has time to wash up in the lovely spring nearby, she’s ambushed by a caravan of traders who reveal it was a setup! Their leader offers her a deal: If she keeps his men satisfied on the road to Billion Ruts’ slave block, he’ll make sure her next breakout attempt is a success.
