Celebrated for his realistically drawn characters and vivid backgrounds, his greatest success was the release of Shoujo Material in 2008. Shoujo Material went on to not only be the highest selling adult manga of 2008, but at the time, went on to be the highest selling adult manga of all time.Outside of the adult market, Naruco has found mainstream success with the manga adaptation of Kamichu! and was the character designer of the 2013 anime Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet.
